1. Introduction
1.1 This Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning products purchased from Antrack (www.antrack.co.za). We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our GPS tracking devices and services.
1.2 By purchasing products from us, you agree to the terms set out in this policy, which complies with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.
2. Cooling-Off Period (Direct Marketing Sales)
2.1 In terms of Section 16 of the CPA, if you purchased goods as a result of direct marketing (including online purchases), you have the right to cancel the transaction and return the goods within 5 (five) business days of delivery, without penalty or reason.
2.2 To exercise this right:
- The goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
- All accessories, manuals, and documentation must be included.
- You must notify us in writing within the 5-day period.
2.3 You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, unless the goods were defective or incorrectly delivered.
3. Defective Goods
3.1 In terms of Section 56 of the CPA, you have the right to return defective goods within 6 (six) months of purchase. Goods are considered defective if they:
- Are faulty or broken upon delivery.
- Do not work as described or intended.
- Are unsafe or of poor quality.
3.2 If goods are found to be defective, you may choose to:
- Have the goods repaired at no charge.
- Have the goods replaced with an identical item.
- Receive a full refund.
3.3 We will cover the cost of collecting and returning defective goods.
4. Incorrect or Damaged Deliveries
4.1 If you receive goods that are incorrect or damaged during delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
4.2 Please provide:
- Your order number.
- Photographs of the damaged or incorrect goods.
- A description of the issue.
4.3 We will arrange for the goods to be collected and replaced or refunded at no additional cost to you.
5. Change of Mind Returns
5.1 Outside of the cooling-off period for direct marketing sales, we do not accept returns for change of mind.
5.2 We recommend that you carefully review product specifications and descriptions before making a purchase. If you have any questions, please contact us before placing your order.
6. Non-Returnable Items
6.1 The following items cannot be returned:
- SIM cards that have been activated.
- Products that have been tampered with, modified, or damaged by the customer.
- Products without original packaging or accessories.
- Products purchased more than 6 months ago (unless still under warranty for defects).
7. How to Request a Return
7.1 To request a return, please:
- Email us at support@antrack.co.za with the subject line "Return Request".
- Include your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Attach photographs if applicable (for defective or damaged goods).
7.2 We will respond within 2 business days with instructions on how to proceed.
8. Refund Process
8.1 Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
8.2 If approved, your refund will be processed within 7-14 business days. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
8.3 Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund and credit your account.
9. Subscription and Service Cancellations
9.1 Tracking subscription services can be cancelled at any time. However, no refunds will be provided for:
- Subscription periods already paid for and used.
- Partial months of service.

10. Warranty
10.1 All Antrack GPS tracking devices come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase.
10.2 The warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, or negligence.
- Damage caused by improper installation.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Water damage (unless the device is rated as waterproof).
- Damage from power surges or incorrect voltage.
